We did this activity with Isabel and I want to make a very special mention (positive of course) of this guide. I think it is the guide that any tourist would like to have since it has been very complete in all aspects; Personally, very friendly and kind and professionally, she was phenomenal. Amsterdam is a big city and this type of activity, so limited in time, does not provide much more than what we did, but the guide was responsible for making effective the saying "if a good thing is brief, it is twice as good."

Amsterdam Day Trip

Begin your full-day tour to Amsterdam bright and early by boarding a comfortable air-conditioned coach. Sit back while you are driven to The Netherlands, the flattest country on Earth.

As soon as you cross the border into Holland, you’ll immediately notice how the landscape changes. You’ll observe the traditional windmills and polders, pieces of land that have been reclaimed from the sea and protected by dykes.

Upon arrival in the capital of The Netherlands, follow your knowledgeable English-speaking guide on an extensive tour. Firstly, discover the area near the Central Station. Then, visit Dam Square, in the heart of Amsterdam, while you learn about the origins of the city and discover how it has developed throughout the centuries. Admire the capital's most emblematic buildings before heading to the oldest part of town.

Stroll through the city’s most emblematic streets and admire the remains of the Medieval Wall until you get to the De Waag building (Weigh House), one of Amsterdam's gems, founded in the fifteenth century. Next, you’ll explore the Jewish Quarter, as you make your way to smell the bountiful flowers at the Flower Market, the only one in the world that floats on a canal.

At the end of the guided tour, you’ll have three hours to have something to eat, go shopping and explore the rest of the city at your own leisure.

Leave Amsterdam at 5:00 pm and you’ll get to Brussels city centre at around 8:30 pm.
