Buddhist temples, dramatic mountains, a unique museum, beautiful beaches and monkeys: discover the charms of Da Nang on this private tour.

Description

First thing in the morning, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Da Nang ready to begin our complete 8-hour tour of the Vietnamese city.

Our first stop will be at the Museum of Cham Sculpture, the largest permanent exhibition of Cham art in the world. The museum is home to almost 300 sculptures from the ancient kingdom of Champa, which ruled the central and southern region of present-day Vietnam from the 2nd to the early 18th century.

After visiting the museum, we'll head to Non Nuoc. This area is famous for its many marble workshops, and its streets are filled with white stone sculptures.

We'll then continue to the Marble Mountains, a cluster of five marble and limestone hills located in Ngũ Hành Sơn District. We'll explore this beautiful natural area, discovering the historic Buddhist temples and admiring the panoramic views over the city of Da Nang. You'll also be able to go inside the Am Phu Cave if you wish for an extra fee.

Having climbed back down the mountains, we'll stop for a well-earned lunch at a local restaurant to indulge in delicious Vietnamese cuisine.

After eating, we'll continue on our tour to the Son Tra Peninsula, also called Monkey Island because of the friendly red-faced monkeys that inhabit the area. You'll be enchanted by the white sand beaches of this breathtaking natural landscape.

We'll then visit the Linh Ung Pagoda, the biggest and most important temple in Da Nang, home to a white marble statue of Lady Buddha. This 67-metre-tall statue of female Buddha is visible from almost everywhere in Da Nang! We'll explore the sacred temple complex, its gardens and Buddhist pagodas.

The last stop on our tour will be at Han Market, the most important shopping area in the city. This market is the ideal place to buy unique souvenirs from your trip to Vietnam, as well as to experience daily local life in this city.

Our guided tour of Da Nang will come to an end back at your hotel after 8 hours of activity.

Pickup

This tour includes pickup from hotels in the centre of Da Nang. If you're staying outside the centre, you'll have to pay an extra fee between 550,000 (US$ 21.50) - 850,000 (US$ 33.30) on the day of the activity. This fee will vary depending on the pickup area.
