Meet us at Praça Marquês de Pombal at the appointed time as we leave Lisbon behind and head to southern Portugal, where the famous golden coasts of the Algarve await us.
After a short two-and-a-half-hour road trip, we'll arrive at Lagos, where we'll see the spectacular rock formations of Ponta da Piedade. This awe-inspiring natural place is sure to captivate you, as it seems to be from another world! Here, you'll have free time to enjoy the scenery and take a boat ride through the caves before we continue on.
Next, we'll travel by bus to Praia do Camilo, tucked in between imposing cliffs, it's considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. We'll also visit Portimao, where you'll have another two hours of free time at Praia da Rocha to swim and relax on the pristine sand.
Then comes the moment we've all been waiting for: the Benagil Caves. Famous throughout the world, this curious and fascinating rock formation is sure to amaze you. Here, you can take a boat or kayak tour to see this incredible cave from up close. You'll also have time in Benagil to try the local cuisine, mainly comprised of fresh fish and seafood from the area.
Our last stop will be in the municipality of Albufeira, historically known as the site where Amazigh troops first landed on their arrival to the Portuguese coast in the year 700. We'll visit the Praia da Marinha, one of the most beautiful in Portugal, and you can enjoy the views of its limestone cliffs and natural arches.
Finally, we will return to Lisbon, where we will arrive at the starting point 12 hours after departure.
