Audience With Pope Francis
Audience With Pope Francis
The tour meets at 7:20 in the Via della Conciliazione, one of the main streets in the centre of Rome, just around the corner from St. Peter's Square, the very centre of the Vatican City.
The guide will explain the history of the Catholic Holy See, and its many famous popes, as well as highlighting the most important and iconic monuments: St. Peter's Basilica and Square.
Then your guide will take you to your seat in St. Peter's Square to follow the homily that takes place every Wednesday, officiated by Pope Francis, from 9 am. Thousands of pilgrims come from all over the world to see the pontiff preach over the course of two and a half hours.
Please note
The tickets for the public audience with the Pope are free of charge. The price of the service is for the guided tour, assistance, reservation management and, if you have booked it, transportation.
