I highly recommend this trip as well as Gustavo Valderrama the guide & Mauricio Diaz the driver. Apart from what is mentioned in the trip description, I also learnt a lot more about other plants (useful ones & to-be-avoid ones) & animals (especially birds). Moreover, different kinds of histories, stories, and cultural stuff... are very interesting to know. All thanks to Gustavo'w deep knowledge & life experience, which is very impressive. I had a very joyful and relaxing day during the trip.
Great experience, Andrés is very kind and knowledgeable about the area. The local guide was also very informative and helpful. The nature is beautiful as well. This tour is a great way to connect with nature and get to know the surrounding area. Would totally recommend it!
Santiago was a knowledgeable guide and we saw over 40 species of bird, including a female Andean Cock of the Rock on her nest. Tour ran from 6am to 1pm and included traditional breakfast. We were the onky two on the tour. Very good value. Santa Rita Reserve is beautiful with a pretty waterfall and worthy of a visit irrespective of the birding.
