Your journey begins with as we pick you up from your hotel in Beijing at the designated time. From there, we'll head north of the capital, taking a scenic drive that lasts approximately two hours until we reach Gubeikou, an ancient village steeped in over a thousand years of history and famously known as the Water City of Gubei.
Upon arrival, you'll have approximately an hour of free time to wander through the quaint streets of Gubei, soaking in the authentic charm of this historic town. Gubei offers a picturesque backdrop for admiring the Simatai section of the Great Wall, making it one of the best vantage points in the region.
While exploring Gubei, you'll also have the opportunity to take a leisurely boat ride along its tranquil canals, offering glimpses of the town's traditional architecture and scenic beauty. It's an experience you won't want to miss!
