Mutianyu Great Wall Day Trip
Description
At the time indicated, we'll meet at Dongzhimen Station and head by minibus towards the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall of China. On the way, you'll be able to make the most of an English-speaking local guide, who'll give you plenty of interesting facts about the enormous construction, dating from the 5th century.
Having arrived, you'll skip the never-ending lines, to get up close to the most famous of Chinese monuments. You'll have 5 hours to explore this section of the wall, which is less busy than the Badaling section leaving you free to visit the structure in comfort and at your own pace.
You can challenge yourself to a 6-kilometre (3.7 miles) walk to one of the tallest towers or, if you prefer, buy a ticket for the cable car. You decide! Whatever you choose it will be amazing.
Once you've explored the Great Wall of China, with a truly unforgettable experience behind you, we'll return to Beijing and end this tour after 8.5 hours at the starting point.
