Downtown LA Guided Tour
Description
At the indicated time we'll meet in front of the iconic Spring Arcade, where we'll start this guided tour of downtown Los Angeles. Are you ready to discover the heart of the city? Let's go!
First, we'll walk through this shopping arcade, a historic building dating from 1920, also known as the Broadway Arcade. From there we'll walk to The Last Bookstore. This iconic bookstore is housed in an abandoned bank and its interior is a real eye-catcher - you'll be amazed by its book tunnel and vaults! And if you're a big fan of reading, you should know that it's the largest new and used bookshop in California.
We'll also stroll up to the Bradbury Building, known for its atrium and its ornamental iron staircases and elevators. Then we'll reach the Grand Central Market, which has been combining the cuisines and cultures of Los Angeles since 1917, and show you where the Angels Flight, the city's famous funicular railway, is located.
Next, we'll take in the outdoor works of art housed in the Museum of Contemporary Art. Of course, we'll pass by the famous Walt Disney Concert Hall, designed by the prestigious architect Frank Gehry. We'll also see Grand Park and Los Angeles City Hall, among other points of interest.
After 2 hours of sightseeing, we'll end our tour at the Civic Center, where Los Angeles' administrative core is located.
