The beautiful church is located on the Riva degli Schiavoni and is just a few steps from the Doge's Palace. During the 18th century, this building was an orphanage where the composer lived and worked for 40 years. In fact, he composed many of his famous works here!
The group of musicians I Virtuosi Italiani pays homage to Vivaldi and his work in the Santa Maria della Pietà church with a concert of The Four Seasons. The impeccable acoustics of the church and precious frescoes by Giovanni Battista Tiepolo create a truly magical atmosphere!
