Stirling Castle, Loch Lomond & The Kelpies
Stirling Castle, Loch Lomond & The Kelpies
We'll meet at the indicated time on High Street in Edinburgh. From here, we'll set off towards Balmaha, a small coastal town on the shores of Loch Lomond.
We'll go for a walk through the woods of the Trossachs National Park to admire the landscape and marvel at the summit of the Ben Lomond on the horizon - one of the most iconic mountains in the Highlands.
Afterwards, we'll head to the historic town of Stirling, which is closely linked to Scotland's history. Here, you'll have around an hour of free time for lunch. After eating, you may also choose to visit the local castle here on your own.
Then we'll continue our trip to the Kelpies. These giant horse heads, which are 30 meters high, are the work of Scottish artist Andy Scott. His sculptures are closely linked to the legends and myths of Scotland. We'll tell you some of them on the tour!
Having spent the day surrounded by Scottish legends of warriors, kings, princesses, and mythological beings, we'll return to Edinburgh. We'll drop you off at the meeting point after a nine-hour trip.
