Toledo and Segovia Tour
Tour Options
When you make your reservation, you can choose one of the following options:
Toledo & Segovia Tour from Madrid
You'll meet your guide in front of Las Ventas metro station at the time indicated to head on an 11-hour trip to Toledo and Segovia. Both of these Spanish cities are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Our first stop of the day will be Toledo. Commonly known as the “City of the Three Cultures”, it's famous for its Muslim, Jewish and Christian landmarks when the three communities lived together for centuries.
Accompanied by an expert English-speaking guide, you’ll enjoy learning about its architectural, artistic and urban heritage as you wander through its narrow and steep streets, gardens and squares. One of the main spots of the tour will be the Toledo Cathedral, one of Spain’s most prominent Gothic buildings and the Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes, where King Alfonso VII, Sancho III and Sanch IV are buried. Before heading to our next city of the day, you’ll also admire the impressive panoramic views of Toledo from the Puente de San Martín and the Mirador del Valle.
Once in Segovia, you'll have free time to have lunch. Then, we’ll walk to the Roman aqueduct. At 794 metres (2604 feet) long and 28 metres (92 feet) tall, it's one of the best-preserved Roman monuments in Spain. We’ll also marvel at the beautiful Cathedral, known as the Lady of the Cathedrals for its surprising Gothic and Renaissance design.
Next, you’ll follow the guide through the streets of the Canonjías neighbourhood until arriving at the Alcázar, one of the country’s most-visited castles. From here, you’ll have a view of the medieval city walls that once surrounded the entire town.
Finally, we'll leave Segovia behind for the Spanish capital. We'll end this Toledo and Segovia day trip at the initial meeting point in Madrid after about 11 hours.
Toledo, Segovia & Ávila Tour from Madrid
With this option, we'll follow the same itinerary as the Toledo and Segovia day trip. However, after leaving Segovia, we'll head to Ávila, one of the 15 Spanish cities declared World Heritage Sites and our third of the day.
After an hour-long ride, we'll arrive at this beautiful city's old town to start a guided tour to admire its famous walls and its main monuments, including the Cathedral of Christ the Savior.
Then, we'll go to the Cuatro Postes viewpoint to marvel at the best panoramic views of the city. Finally, we'll leave Ávila and arrive back at the meeting point in Madrid after nearly 14 hours. See you again soon!
